1. About Parezar

Parezar provides multilingual search and AI-assisted access to Iraqi and Kurdistan-Region legal materials in Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani), and English, and connects users with legal professionals. Parezar is a legal information platform. It is not a law firm, and using the Service does not create a lawyer–client relationship with Parezar.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Legal Information, Not Legal Advice

Content provided through the Service — including search results, AI-generated answers, summaries, and citations — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

4. Your Account

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Accuracy: keeping your registration and profile information accurate and up to date.
• Security: safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Notice: promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Iraqi law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Scrape, harvest, or copy content at scale, or resell the Service without our written permission.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity, including a lawyer.

6. Lawyer Directory and Third-Party Services

The Service may list independent legal professionals and enable communication, booking, or contract-drafting features. Parezar does not employ these professionals and is not responsible for their advice, conduct, fees, or the outcome of any engagement. Any agreement you enter into with a lawyer is solely between you and that lawyer.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its software, design, and original content are owned by Parezar and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Iraqi legal texts are public materials; our compilation, translation, structuring, and presentation of them are protected. You may use the Service for your own lawful, non-commercial reference unless we agree otherwise in writing.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Legal materials may change and translations or AI outputs may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parezar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service.

9. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any dispute arising from your use of the Service shall be subject to the competent courts of Iraq, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you.
